Privacy Policy

COLOR turns a written prompt or an uploaded photo into a printable colouring book. This policy describes exactly what the service stores, where it goes, and how to remove it. It covers color.muselabs.ai.

What we collect

• Account details — your email address, and your display name and avatar if you sign in with Google. Passwords are never stored by COLOR; authentication is handled by Supabase Auth.
• Content you create — books, pages, characters, libraries, ideas and cover settings.
• Images you upload — photos you convert into colouring pages, and any avatar you set.
• Operational records — for each AI generation we record a request identifier, your user id, the operation and model used, timing, and an estimated cost, so usage limits and spending caps can be enforced. Your IP address is hashed before storage and the raw address is not retained.

We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics, and we do not collect location data.

What we never store

Prompt text, uploaded images, authentication tokens and cookies are excluded from our logs. Logs record only a request identifier and an error code.

Where your data lives

Content and account records are stored in a dedicated Supabase project hosted in the United States (AWS us-east-1). Uploaded images are held in private storage buckets that are not publicly readable; each user can only reach files under their own folder. The site and its server functions are hosted on Netlify.

AI processing

When you generate a book or convert a photo, your prompt and any images you supply are sent from our server to Google's Gemini models to produce the result. They are transmitted for that purpose only. COLOR does not use your content to train any model.

Cookies

COLOR sets only what sign-in requires: a session cookie, a refresh cookie, and a cross-site request forgery token. They are HttpOnly, Secure, and same-site. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Sharing

Your content is private to your account unless you explicitly invite someone by email address, in which case only that person gains the access you grant. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except the infrastructure providers named above who process it on our behalf.

Your choices

You can view, edit and delete your books, characters and uploads from inside the app at any time. To request deletion of your whole account and everything associated with it, or a copy of your data, email ben@muselabs.ai. Deletion requests are actioned within 30 days.

Children

COLOR produces material aimed at children but is intended to be operated by adults. Accounts are not knowingly created for anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and notify signed-in users by email.
